I think it’s a great idea.
By way of getting *something* off the ground, getting organised and stuff, has anyone ( and I’m looking at you GL ) looked into broadcasting over the web using the NSV format ( or something similar ) ?
http://www.nullsoft.com/nsv/Examples of it running can be seen in winamp ( media library->winamp / shoutcast TV , depending on what version you use )
The setup and running costs would be *much* cheaper, no need for a licence ! and if all goes well, could be useful to be able to *prove* that you can do that sort of thing.

We had some ledgendary parties at our old house in Sonning, oh yes.
will try and dig out some piccies too when I get home….Anway, tips :
Preperatoipn is the key. We used to spend two days getting ready for a party, and about a week getting it all back together…All breakables ( TV / DVD etc ) in the garage / loft / locked room. Along with all sharp knives from the kitchen drawers.
We used to completly strip all the downstairs rooms of all funiture, and ornaments, and well everything actually. Stuck all the chairs / sofas in one for a chillout room. Cover the carpets with bits of off cuts, and underlay to protect against red wine / ciggies. Only speakers and lights, in the “main room ” . Nothing can get broken. And you can relax……
Another good idea is to *personally* visit every one in your street and warn them about it. Tell them what to expect ( like it’s gonna be loud, there’s gonna be shit loads of people ) Give them YOUR number ( and perhaps one other ), be really arse kissy with them, and they will phone YOU rather than the police if they have had enough…
Oh and my favorite is when everyone is totally monged out come the next day, be the first person to start tiding up. You WILL be suprised by how much drugs you find ( if it’s that kinda party 🙂 )

Saw you guys out for the first time at the Hallo’een party in Heathrow(?), and I have to say, that me an my mates were getting seriously worried that it was gonna be drum and base, out of ALL the rigs, ALL night, until the welcome sound of the four four came wafting over, from your loverly rig. You guys saved us with Techno! nice one.
Had a dance wiv one / some of your DJs and crew as well, safe peeps one and all.

I’m Rob, from Reading, been partying for the best part of the last ten years plus, and still love it, I read ( but don’t really post ) Squat juice, and am quite active in the Psy forum.
Used to read this site years ago, then it seemed to die off a bit ?!, but I thought I’d check it again, and was inclined to sign up, and respoind to General Lightings PMT post.

The free parties reports pages ( UK FREE PARTIES ) which is hosted by partyvibe, was all done by a guy called Buggs.
I used to read the reports loads when bored at work, then some time after, I quite accidently met, and got chatting to Buggs, at a party on the ridgeway !! We’ve been mates ever since then, and even help to put on parties together these days.Good eh ?
